From the app to every valve, and back

The Valve Controller has no internet connection of its own. The Pump Controller is the IoT gateway: it carries your schedules and commands out to the field and brings status back to the Creatronix cloud and app.

Create irrigation schedules

Set start times and run durations for each valve zone from the app.

Manage the pump

Start and stop the pump through the Pump Controller and see its status.

Control four valves

Open and close each 9 V DC latching valve on its own or by schedule.

Sensor ready

Add soil or weather sensors later; their data uses the same wireless link.

Three links

How the pieces talk to each other

App ⇄ Cloud · Mobile network

Schedules and commands go up; status comes back to the screen.

Cloud ⇄ Pump Controller · Internet gateway

The Pump Controller receives instructions and pushes field data to the Creatronix cloud.

Pump ⇄ Valve Controller · Wireless link

Valve commands go out to the field; valve status returns.

Features & operation

Built for drip irrigation in the field

Fully solar powered

Ships with its own solar panel. No mains cable to lay to the far end of the field.

Four valve zones

Drives four 9 V DC latching solenoid valves, each controlled independently.

Wireless to the pump

Two-way wireless link with the Pump Controller for commands and data.

Data in the cloud

The Pump Controller pushes valve data to the Creatronix cloud.

Run it from your phone

Farmers and farm owners view the field and manage irrigation in the mobile app.

Sensor ready

Soil, weather and other sensors can be added at any time.

Sensor Edition

Add sensors when you are ready

The controller accepts soil sensors, weather sensors and other field sensors. Their readings travel over the same wireless link to the Pump Controller and appear in the app.

Ask us about the Sensor Edition, or switch to the With Sensors tab above.

How one cycle runs

Plan, send, irrigate, report

  1. PlanCreate a schedule in the app for the pump and each valve zone.
  2. SendThe cloud passes it to the Pump Controller, which relays it wirelessly to the Valve Controller.
  3. IrrigateThe pump runs and the controller switches its four latching valves in turn.
  4. ReportValve status flows back to the cloud and the app.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the valve controller need mains power?

No. It is fully solar powered and ships with its own solar panel, so no mains cable is needed at the far end of the field.

How many valves can it control?

Four 9 V DC latching solenoid valves, each controlled independently.

How does it connect to the internet?

It links wirelessly to the Creatronix Pump Controller, which acts as the internet gateway. Schedules, pump control and valve status all live in one mobile app.
